Yuugao as Tiana

IT'S HERE. IT'S FINALLY HERE. 8D

Please welcome Naruto Disney Princess #21: Yuugao as Tiana from Disney's latest masterpiece The Princess and the Frog!

The idea to use Yuugao as Tiana actually came from a suggestion that I believe made at fanfiction.net. At the time (I think it was during the summer.), I wasn't even thinking about who would be playing Tiana because the movie was still so far away, but I liked the idea of Hayate as the frog too much to let the suggestion go.

Later, when the release date for the movie was announced and when the previews/website started coming out, I started thinking about who I might want to use as Tiana. Of course, I considered Karui. She looks like Tiana, and she was new to the Naruto fandom. However, there was one thing in the way of Karui becoming the next princess: Omoi as Naveen. No. I just couldn't do it. Naveen is a laid back, carefree character, and Omoi is a worrywart who thinks far too deeply into things. I just couldn't do it, and I'm sorry to everyone who was looking forward to Karui becoming Tiana. Maybe a princess in the future will be a good match for her.

For now though, here's the cast! I think Yuugao is a really kickass character even though she only appears for a few minutes in the very beginning of the series. I also really liked the idea of a sick Hayate as Frog Naveen. I figured that he could catch his cold once he's transformed into a frog. (Totally weird to see/draw a healthy Hayate.) o_O Another main reason I used Yuugao as Tiana is because I REALLY FREAKIN' WANTED TO DRAW BAKI AS DR. FACILIER. OMG, YOU HAVE NO IDEA. 8DDD As soon as I saw Facilier's full character, I was like, "I need to draw Baki as him." I have no idea why I thought this; I just did. Kabuto is Lawrence just because he's too easy to turn into a silly sidekick character. Kurenai is Eudora. Asuma is James. I thought Chiyo would make a great Mama Odie. As I was drawing Gai in the alligator suit for Louis, I kept thinking to myself, "Why do I feel as though this is canon?" I decided to turn Lee into Ray. Holy crap, I love Ray so much~ Anko returns in a significantly less sexy but still show-stopping role as Charlotte, and I thought that Ibiki might make a good Big Daddy. What? It's cute.
